The requirements for application include a Senior Secondary School Certificate with not less than five credits in Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Biology, and Physics.

1. General Nursing Programme (RN)
To become eligible to participate in the General Nursing Education program of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, the candidate must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits in English, and either Physics, Chemistry or Biology, in not more than two sittings.
2. Post-Basic Midwifery Programme (RM)
All applicants must be Registered Nurses and must meet all the institutional requirements for admission into the schools of midwifery. The Duration of study is one (1) calendar year and the registration obtained is Registered Midwife (RM).
3. Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme
All candidates must be registered nurses and must meet all the institutional requirements to be admitted into any school of psychiatric nursing. The Duration of study is one (1) Calendar year and the registration obtained is Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).
4. Bachelor Of Nursing Science Degree Programme (B. N.SC)
Interested applicants must possess Five Credits Level passes in WAEC or its equivalent in not more than two sittings. English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics inclusive, and must meet all the institutional requirements.
The Registrations obtained include Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN), and Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).
