- Applicants should be above 17 years and not more than 26 years
- The program spans at least three years
- A minimum of five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology in their O’level examinations, which should not be more than two Sitting.
Admission Requirements into the Post Basic Nursing Midwifery Programme
- Aged less than 18 years or above 34 years
- Five credit passes in SSCE, WASSCE/NECO, or GCE including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two sittings.
- The Candidate must be a Registered Nurse (RN) under the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

- Central School of Nursing, Ikot Ekpene – This Nursing Institution is under the Central Hospital in Ikot-Ekpene. The school has an admission quota of 40 students for each academic year. It gained its full accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria in 2018.
